About Us


In early 1925, Brothers Matthew Bullock, Esq., Dr. Theodore E. McCurdy, Alfred T. Clark and Everett C. Yates petitioned the National Office to establish a graduate chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts so that they could continue their fraternal union as Omega men beyond the undergraduate year. Their petition was approved on July 1, 1925 under the leadership of Grand Basileus George L. Vaughn, and the Eta Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered. Charter members of the chapter were T. E. A. McCurdy, Samuel A. Allen, Everett C. Yates, Matthew W. Bullock, Alfred T. Clark, William S. Lawrence, O. Bostick, A. P. Russell, S. C. Fuller, Warmoth T. Gibbs, W. O. Taylor, and Irwin T. Dorch.
